The Most Important Lesson From the Tiananmen Square Massacre.
This June 4th marks the 32nd anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre. Pavel Stroilov, a Russian historian who had access to privileged Soviet files during the Mikhail Gorbachev era and managed to carry much of them with him into exile in the West, cites the former USSR’s intelligence data death figures for that brutal event at over 3,000 people.
That horrific event in the world’s largest square (Tiananmen) was the culmination of an epic popular movement demanding freedom and democratic self-rule where massive nationwide demonstrations were carried out in more than four hundred Chinese cities, lasting over a seven-week period.
The big “inciter” of the understandable claims made by the Chinese people in 1989 was the notion that economic liberalization equated (or should equate) the amplification of political and civil societal spaces. That was the same logical premise made, after all, by politicians and the business community of the world’s democracies, especially the United States. President Richard Nixon’s “engagement” policy was rationalized as having realpolitik advantages and laying the seeds for the communist in Peking to choose another path. Capitalism was still believed by many to possess a democracy-inducing contagion quality. Thus, when Deng Xiaoping began his sermons about the need to reformulate the economic model to meet “socialist needs” before the Eleventh Congress of the Chinese Communist party in 1978, many in the West misjudged the tenacity of a Marxist-Leninist state.

New Black Panther Party: Supremacy and Genocide.
As part of the National Black Power Convention held in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 29th, the New Black Panther Party (NBPP), a Marxist black nationalist and revolutionary movement, called for reparations and genocide against whites. The “black power” event coincided with the 100-year weekend anniversary of the lamentable 1921 racial riot in the Sooner State’s (Oklahoma) second-largest city.
The Tulsa Race Massacre, a lamentable occurrence where armed whites and blacks fought each other, leaving a death toll of 26 blacks, 10 whites and the destruction of 35 square blocks of the Greenwood section of Tulsa, known as “Black Wall Street”. To participate in that solemn occasion, hundreds of black Americans from numerous radical left-wing groups participated in the march with the NBPP being the largest. The extremists participating in the demonstration were all well-armed, as was reported by the local Tulsa Public Radio.
Among the heated racist rhetoric there were statements from speakers representing the ultra-left black extremists, captured in Twitter videos. “We’re pushing death to white supremacy, death to capitalism, death to imperialism, and death to fascism. We’re pushing an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a head for a head, and a life for a life.” The genocidal rant against whites and black supremacy espousal reached alarming levels of domestic terrorism concerns. “Because that time will come when there’s a rat-a-tat-tat… black Americans will kill everything white in sight,” stated another black supremacist in the event.

Black Lives Matter’s Apparent Unraveling From Within.
Socialism, from its onset, repeatedly witnessed cannibalistic faction wars and desertions. Karl Marx ridiculed every other socialist variant labeling them pejoratively as “utopians.” For Friedrich Engels, the inventor of Marxism, and himself only their pseudo “scientific” socialism was legitimate. Black Lives Matter (BLM) has observed the one-year anniversary of the communist identity politics revolt following the death of George Floyd, with mixed reviews.
While sadly the Marxist Critical Race Theory (CRT) dogma, which is the ideological underpinning of the BLM revolution, is making an enormous headway infiltrating America’s institutions with the help of the Biden-Harris Administration, BLM appears to be unraveling from within.
Rashard Turner, founder of the BLM St. Paul, Minnesota chapter, publicly separated himself from the Marxist organization and revealed his disenchantment in a video released by TakeCharge on May 26th that favors racial tension amelioration and uplifting disparities between black Americans and other segments of society, but repudiates BLM’s methods and its attachment to the CRT worldview. “I believed the organization stood for exactly what the name implies, black lives do matter,” the former BLM leader stated. “I was an insider in Black Lives Matter. And I learned the ugly truth”, Turner continued.

The Importance of Memorial Day
Remembering and honoring all United States soldiers that died in war is, in general terms, what Memorial Day is all about. Originally called Decoration Day, it was not until after World War II that the reference to the current name gained national momentum. Most countries celebrate versions of honoring their war dead. In the case of the United States, given its foundational adhesion to the principle of liberty with its concurrent constitutional republican model and an innate abidance of living within a Christian transcendental order, the solemness and self-identification of this special occasion places Memorial Day among America’s most relevant celebrations.
Union General John A. Logan, a former congressman, national commander of the Grand Army of the Republic (a fraternal organization composed of Union Civil War veterans) and subsequent senator for Illinois, issued on May 5th, 1868, General Order No. 11. This proclamation established on May 30th of that year as a day of remembrance to honor those who gave up their lives for their country in the American Civil War. “The 30th day of May 1868”, read the Order, “is designated for the purpose of strewing with flowers or otherwise decorating the graves of comrades who died in defense of their country during the late rebellion, and whose bodies now lie in almost every city, village, and hamlet church-yard in the land.”
