Woke Corporations in Georgia Boycott Are Close to China. U.S. corporations that recently criticized Georgia’s election reform bill have been tied to factories in China with poor conditions for workers and forced Uyghur labor.

Corporate America quickly condemned and chastised Georgia over its recently-passed voting legislation — suggesting the bill “undermin[es]” American democracy, and some going as far as moving business away from the state in response. Additionally, hundreds of corporations, celebrities and executives announced their unified opposition against any “discriminatory legislation” that “prevent[s] any eligible voter from having an equal and fair opportunity to cast a ballot.”

Still, many of these same corporations that have dedicated themselves to the cause of condemning human rights violations are simultaneously connected with factories in China with substandard conditions for workers, limited protections of worker rights, and in some cases, forced labor.

Woke Oscars Ratings Plummet. “In delayed fast national results just released by Nielsen, the 93rd Academy Awards were watched by a mere 9.85 million, with a dismal rating of 1.9 among the 18-49 demographic,” reports the far-left Deadline.

How dreadful is that? Well, last year’s Oscars used to be the lowest-rated in history, and this is a collapse of 58 percent below that.  In the key 25-54 age demo, the collapse was a whopping – this is not a typo – 64 percent.

For comparison, just three years ago, total viewership dropped below 30 million for the first time in the ceremony’s recorded history.

The final numbers will be in later today or tomorrow, but holy cow. Who expected this? I mean, other than absolutely everybody.

GOP Senators Challenge MLB's Monopoly Protections. A group of GOP senators introduced a bill Tuesday to strip Major League Baseball (MLB) of antitrust exemptions over its boycott of Georgia.

Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas, Josh Hawley of Missouri, and Mike Lee of Utah announced the bill targeting the MLB in a press conference. The senators slammed “woke corporations” that have pressured Georgia to roll back election reforms signed into law in March. The MLB took an additional step of relocating its 2021 all-star game and rookie draft out of Atlanta to protest the reforms.

“It’s always been the case that big business seeks handouts, seeks subsidies, seeks special benefits at the expense of the little guy, at the expense of the small business. But in the past month, these woke corporations have decided to become the political enforcer for Democrats in Washington,” Cruz told a group of reporters. “What prompted this legislation being introduced was Major League Baseball’s decision to pull the all-star game out of Atlanta, Georgia.”

The Left Controls Corporate Boards and Media. We’re in a new era of news media, a clown world where true things are decried as false and false things are heralded as true.

If you follow the news, you know that something has changed. I’m not talking about media bias. The media has always been biased, sometimes in obvious and childlike ways, sometimes more subtly. That’s not what’s different.

What’s different is that corporate news outlets, together with major corporations of all kinds, now routinely present what is false as true and what is true as false. They deceive on purpose and without apology, and they do so in service of a leftist ideological and political agenda. This is new, and it’s dangerous.

Examples of this new media unreality are ubiquitous. Almost all the reporting on Georgia’s election reform law, for example, has been incorrect, misleading, or outright deceptive.
