The U.S. Supreme Court Defends Voter Integrity and the Constitution.

The American Republic scored a big victory on Thursday, July 1^st. The U.S. Supreme Court overturned an apparent unconstitutional ruling by the San Francisco-based Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals that had struck down HB 2023, Arizona’s new voter integrity law. The vote was decided by a clear majority of 6 to 3, split along ideological lines. The Court’s rendition in Brnovich v. Democratic National Committee settled two paramount issues challenging America’s popular sovereignty republican system.

The most pressing threats to the United States election model were strengthening structural mechanisms that could make voting as easy and accessible as possible while making it difficult and complicated to cheat. The second fundamental pillar that was eroded and needed fixing, as was made evident by the irregularities in the 2020 election, was the constitutional perversion of allowing state executive officers and courts to replace state legislatures as the exclusive architects of electoral laws and their systems. Both principles were defended with the ruling.

America’s Independence: Some Things to Know.

America's Independence Day, celebrated on the 4^th of July, marks the Second Continental Congress’ unanimous adoption of the Declaration of Independence, formally separating the Thirteen Colonies from Great Britain. This seminal event that took place two hundred and forty-five years ago in 1776, begs a broader analysis to fully appreciate its essence. Here are some things to know.

The American Revolution envelopes the Declaration’s signing and presents a more panoramic understanding of the United States coming into being. This historic process ran from 1765 to 1783 and encapsulates a gestation period of America’s nationhood. It began with the British Parliament’s Stamp Act (1765), which levied a tax on the then-British colonies. Despite it being repealed a year later, the American principle of “no taxation without representation”, was affirmed and set off a popular resistance to British Parliamentary legislation by the colonists who began to see themselves more as Americans than British subjects. War was brewing.

Here are the Root Causes of America’s ‘Homelessness’ Crisis.

Political correctness (PC) has invaded every aspect of American life. Language has been a seminal target. A “homeless” person, in a literal sense, is someone without a home. The term is misleading. Yet, we know what the one refers to when we see it in the streets of our cities.

In another era, this group might be called “hobos” or “bums”. “Undocumented” versus “illegal” alien is another display of this semantic trickery, designed to not offend, which has become a de facto 21st-century crime. America’s homeless crisis owes its calamity a string of failed public policies.

The left looks at statistics and consistently errs as to the cause-and-effect binomial predominance. The socioeconomic disparities between black and white Americans are another paragon of this vicious error. Here, leftism points to false narratives substantiated by the radical, Marxist Critical Race Theory (CRT) and cries out “systemic racism” as the root cause. Public policy failures that have pulverized black families and have fortified a “noble victim” identity class, along with fomenting a crippling social network complex to feed into this worldview, points to a more probable cause for these disparities. Vagrancy in the United States has suffered a similar fate of miscomprehension by leftist politicians.

Critical Race Theory Arrives at the UN, Thanks to Socialist UN Chief Michelle Bachelet.

Michelle Bachelet, the United Nations’ High Commissioner for Human Rights, announced on Monday June 28^th that “systemic racism needs a systemic response.” The UN human rights chief since 2018 added clarity to her unsubstantiated claims by saying “The Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement and other civil society groups led by people of African descent have provided grassroots leadership through listening to communities.”

While the position expressed by the Chilean Socialist politician and daughter of a military official from Marxist president Salvador Allende’s government should surprise no one, it does make evident where the communist identity politics war has broadened a new offensive: the UN. 

Following the death of George Floyd, Bachelet requested a report from the U.N. Human Rights Council (UNHRC) she chairs. Labeled, “Promotion and protection of the human rights and fundamental freedoms of Africans and of people of African descent against excessive use of force and other human rights violations by law enforcement officers” (Report), the UNHRC findings wholly accept the epistemological assumptions that underlie Marxist Critical Race Theory. Consistent with the postmodernist narrative that knowledge is culturally constructed and “lived” experience is the ultimate source of “truth”, the report is flawed and permeated with ideological-driven laundered precepts.
