FBI, DHS: hackers have accessed election systems. FBI, DHS say hackers have gained access to election systems.
In some cases, there was unauthorized access to election support systems.
Hackers, possibly nation-state actors, have penetrated U.S. government networks and accessed election systems, the FBI and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) said in a joint alert.
In some cases, there was unauthorized access to election support systems, CISA added.
The agency, which is part of the Department of Homeland Security, explained there is no evidence so far that the integrity of elections data was compromised and that "it does not appear these targets are being selected because of their proximity to elections information."

On several occasions in the past few months, I’ve written or remarked that Joe Biden isn’t really running like a candidate who has been enjoying a big lead in the polls. The Democrats, in general, haven’t been acting like it. I don’t believe it’s because they’ve learned anything from 2016 — they obviously haven’t — or that they are being cautious. No, I think that they worked themselves into such a frenzy after President Trump was elected that they can’t calm themselves down anymore.

President Donald Trump appeared fit and in good spirits on Oct. 12 in Florida at the first rally after recovering from COVID-19.
The president spent just over an hour on a makeshift outdoor stage on a tarmac in Sanford, Florida. He delivered his characteristic rapid-fire speech, lauding his administration’s accomplishments, criticizing opponents, and urging supporters in Florida to vote early, including by mail.
Trump arrived in Florida hours after his physician, Sean Conley, confirmed that the president had tested negative for two consecutive days for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus, commonly known as the coronavirus. The president contracted the virus earlier this month but recovered rapidly during a four-day hospital stay. The president is “not infectious to others,” Conley said in a memo.

Gallup Poll: 56% Americans better off with Trump now than Obama-Biden 4 yrs ago. A solid majority of 56 percent of Americans say they are better off now than they were four years ago, a new Gallup survey reveals.
Only 32 percent say they are worse off than four years ago. The number is, as Fox News’s Laura Ingraham noted on Thursday night, “the highest Gallup has ever recorded.”
