It’s becoming more and more obvious that Election Day 2020 is going to be a ‘you-know-what show’ thanks to the widening use of mail-in ballots.

For weeks since the primaries began around the country, one horror story after another involving states and localities that have not used widespread mail-in balloting in the past have surfaced.

Missing ballots. Ballots left in Postal Service trays. Ballots sent to the wrong homes. People getting multiple ballots. Ballots not being delivered or post-marked on time, etc.

Gabbard: Election Fraud a ‘Serious Threat’"

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) has put forward a bipartisan bill aiming to improve the security of vote-by-mail. It proposes to incentivize states to ban ballot harvesting. Here’s the latest on the 2020 U.S. presidential election coverage.

Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) on Sept. 19 echoed President Donald Trump’s concerns about the risk of election fraud regarding mail-in ballots, calling it a “serious threat” as she announced her new bipartisan legislation that seeks to outlaw ballot harvesting.

In announcing the legislation, which is being co-sponsored by Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.), Gabbard raised concerns about the practice that permits a third party to collect and return multiple ballots, saying the risk presented is not a partisan issue.

Nearly 350K Dead Voters Still on Rolls. A report from the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) published this week found nearly 350,000 dead voters still eligible to cast a ballot and a significant number of double votes from the last two general elections.

Organization President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams told The Kyle Olson Show people are getting registered to vote multiple times, and secretaries of state such as Michigan’s Jocelyn Benson are not doing anything about it.

More Than 349,000 Dead Registrants Remain on Voter Rolls.

Nearly 350,000 dead registrants remain on voter rolls across 41 states, according to an audit conducted by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF).

The number is a major improvement over the last time an assessment of similar scope was performed in 2012, when a Pew Research report turned up 2 million deceased voters on the rolls.

In the 2016 and 2018 elections, states credited 14,608 registrants for voting after death, the PILF report found. The foundation didn’t count cases where votes could have been cast by living registrants during the early or absentee voting periods.
