Thank You to All Our Soldiers!
After thanking God, when you see a military service person, active-duty or retired, say thank you soldier! Soldiers are America’s freedom guardians.
On the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, at the eleventh hour in 1918, hostilities in World War I ceased under an accorded armistice. Also known as “The Great War”, given its unseen brutality (for that time), this global conflict was characterized by many as “the war to end all wars”. Premised upon that belief, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the following year, on the 11th of November, the commemoration of Armistice Day.
This celebration of a “peace agreement-process” ignored the historical fact that most wars are ultimately fought because of flawed political policies drafted in peacetime. After two excruciating and back-to-back wars to fight the evils of fascism and communism in World War II (1939-1945) and the Korean War (1950-1953), the 83rd American Congress in 1954 passed legislation (Public Law 380) amending the 1938 act which designated November 11, a federal holiday. Of seminal importance was the substitution of the word “Armistice” for “Veterans”.

Lessons From Reagan and the Fall of the Berlin Wall
When dealing with communism and its latest mutations, today’s Free World’s leaders should adopt aggressive confrontational plans as Reagan did. Words not followed by effective action are hollow.
By the time Ronald W. Reagan had pronounced his emblematic “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall” speech before Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate in 1987, a war of liberation had been waged by the 40th U.S. President against Soviet communism for over six years. Never accepting the defensive strategy of containment—which categorized the Truman Doctrine, as definitive in the Free World’s response to Marxist worldwide tyranny—Reagan replaced America’s foreign policy strategy towards Soviet expansionism and hegemony with one of, not just containing the evil menace of communism, but structurally rolling it back. No one had more to do with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet version of communism than Reagan.

Republicans would be in suicide mode if they part ways with a figure that, despite his unpolished and non-protocol mannerisms, can still energize more than half the country and has ably demonstrated that he knows how to successfully run a nation.
Probably the most honest and intellectually coherent thing Vice-President Kamala Harris has ever stated in public life, has been her pre-election assessment of the impact of Tuesday’s November 2 election. On Friday, October 29, in the historic city of Norfolk (VA), Harris said, “What happens in Virginia will in large part determine what happens in 2022, 2024, and on.” The vice-president was correct. Virginia, like Union General William Tecumseh Sherman’s seminal March to the Sea, was an astounding political victory for Republicans. However, the triumph was not just of any variant of the GOP. This is one of the reasons, Republicans still need Trump.
CNN political commentator Van Jones, known for his brilliant cynicism, called Virginia governor-elect Glenn Youngkin on election night, the “delta variant of Trumpism.” The former Obama administration “green jobs czar”, who resigned over scandals of his previous ties to Marxist groups, was astutely referring to a more sophisticated political class that could have greater effectiveness.

Capitalism Alone Will Save the Environment, Not a Socialist ‘Green’ New Deal.
The real existential climate “crisis” is the climate of liberty, self-government, and prosperity.
Socialists, whether cloaked in globalist business suits, hippie Marxist garbs, or impious ceremonial cassocks, all cringe at the superiority of capitalism’s performance on ecological and humanitarian matters. There are conflicting scientific viewpoints on all environmental theories, including those that believe in global cooling, global warming, climate change, and even green “sustainability.” These are all theories open for discussion, but only when the debate is at a minimum evidence-based.
Fewer people have died from that the ill side effects of the Industrial Revolution, Capitalism’s offspring, than those who have greatly benefitted from the improvements in global food supplies, potable water access, housing improvement, medical novelties, and overall poverty reduction—all products of the free enterprise system (a/k/a Capitalism). In other words, Capitalism has saved, by geometric proportions, a vaster number of lives by way of its innovative genius in production methodology and subsequent output, than its ideological foe, socialism.
