UNICEF in complicit silence in the face of Cuba's 11J teenage victims.  More than a month has passed since the protests and Cubans are still struggling to cope with the pandemic and the unequal struggle against a legal system subordinated to the Communist Party (PCC). There are still hundreds of prisoners condemned in summary proceedings, or waiting in preventive prison for the verdict of judges more predisposed to punishment than to reason. Behind every one of those prisoners serving or at risk of serving an excessive sentence for having come out to demonstrate peacefully, there is a family that has been forced to restructure its way of life, if such a thing exists under a regime that keeps millions subsisting on the bare necessities, without food, medicine, decent housing or hope.

Castro's dictatorship legalizes Internet censorship with Decree-Law 35. The provision limits freedom of expression on the Internet and qualifies calls for protests as cyber-terrorism.

The Cuban regime published on Tuesday in the Official Gazette No.92 Decree-Law 35 on "Telecommunications, Information and Communication Technologies and the Use of the Radioelectric Spectrum", which prohibits calling for protests through the Internet, which is described as "cyberterrorism".

Spain and Cuba: the failure of appeasement. How do Spain and Europe want to accompany Cuba in the medium and long term? By collaborating with the repressors or by stopping them in their tracks?

Almost a month after the historic protests in Cuba, the international community -Spain included- is still digesting how to respond to an eventuality of which everyone was warned. Meanwhile, thousands of citizens have been arbitrarily detained, fined or sentenced in summary trials, and the regime of Miguel Diaz-Canel is trying to heat up the streets with meager demonstrations of support that the newspaper El Pais, however, describes as a "mass bath".

14 year old mentally retarded boy remains in prison in Cuba. Regime prevented for 22 days the minor detained after 11J to have his medicine and is beaten by Castro's repressors.

For 22 days the Cuban regime denied access to his psychiatric medication to the minor Christopher Llenoart Santana, detained after the protests that broke out on July 11.

"Yesterday, after 22 days, Naika Santana was finally able to bring her 14-year-old son (...) the haloperidol medication that he must take systematically for his psychiatric disorder and which he has not consumed since his arrest on July 17," confirmed journalist Ivette Leyva Martínez.
