After the pro-Trump mob stormed the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, Twitter blue-checks, politicians, and elite corporate journalists wailed and rent their garments in outrage. But they weren’t really outraged.
Yes, the breach of the capitol was appalling and disturbing. Most people didn’t see it coming and were understandably shocked when images of MAGA bros fighting capitol police began popping up on social media (although the authorities should have been better prepared, most of all D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, who had earlier rejected offers of additional law enforcement.) There’s no question the protesters who decided to riot should be prosecuted, as all rioters everywhere should be.

Mass Media Misrepresenting Capital Bldg Caos. The founder of Moms for America (MFA) says the media has misrepresented the protests at the Capitol building in Washington D.C. on Jan. 6, and that protestors did not violently “storm” the building or loot.
In a press release issued on Jan. 7, Kimberly Fletcher, a mother of eight and founder and president of MFA, said that some media outlets were exaggerating the alleged violence and looting that occurred on Wednesday and claimed that the majority of actions taken were peaceful.
“What you are seeing on the media are lies,” Fletcher wrote.
“They are trying to make this all about President Trump and millions of people who love freedom and simply want honest elections we can have confidence in. I am here in D.C. I was at all these events. So, let me share the truth and facts.”

NY Times admits fake news caliphate reporting. NYT Apologizes For Fake 'Caliphate' Reporting With More Coverups.
The New York Times “Caliphate” series, as reported by Rukmini Callimachi, was flawed from its beginnings in 2018, but a lack of transparency and conflicts of interest have overshadowed the publication’s attempt to walk back its own failed reporting.
While the publication and Callimachi focused a majority of the series on the Canadian-Pakistani Shehroze Chaudhry, who said he was a former executioner for ISIS in Syria, it was later discovered this year that Chaudhry has not “killed anyone, joined ISIS or even ever traveled to Syria” and was facing federal charges in Canada this fall for lying about it.

Mass media deceitfully withheld H Biden reporting. Mainstream media outlets appear to be loosening their ban on anti-Biden stories after the November vote.
These outlets changed their tune about Hunter Biden more than a month after Americans cast their ballots in the presidential election, which is causing many to question the timing of their coverage.
The liberal press was accused of sweeping these incriminating allegations under the rug to save face with Joe Biden, pre-election.
Before the election, the Washington Post shared the headline: “The truth behind the Hunter Biden non-scandal.”
