Mass media's premature Biden announcement fuels mistrust.
When residents in Washington, D.C., heard the media call the election for Joe Biden, they erupted in celebrationâwhooping and hollering, banging pots together on their front steps, honking car horns, and generally behaving as if Munchkin Land had been freed from the wicked witch.
The media, too, gleefully danced upon President Donald Trumpâs alleged political grave.
The Associated Press, which sets the standards for journalistic writing and distributes stories widely for recirculation in other outlets, ran pro-Biden propaganda in what it claimed to be a straight news story. The report has been heavily edited, but the original version editorialized:

Editor resigns over Biden scandal news suppression. Glenn Greenwald Resigns From The Intercept, Claims Biden Story âSuppressionâ.
Journalist Glenn Greenwald announced that heâs leaving The Intercept, a publication he helped found, due to perceived censorship of an article regarding corruption allegations surrounding Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
Greenwald posted a resignation letter on Twitter on Oct. 29, saying editors at the left-leaning publication refused to publish an article of his unless he deleted âall sections critical of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, the candidate vehemently supported by all New-York-based Intercept editors involved in this effort at suppression.â

NPR admits it refuses to cover Biden corruption scandals. NPR announced that it is not covering the Hunter Biden laptop story because the media organization doesnât âwant to waste the listenersâ and readersâ time on stories that are just pure distractions.â
âNPR Public Editor,â a newsletter written by Polynterâs Kelly McBride, addressed a question wondering âwhy NPR has apparently not reported on the Joe Biden, Hunter Biden story in the last week or so.â The story, first published by the New York Post last week, allegedly came from an abandoned laptop belonging to Hunter Biden.
McBride, the NPR Public Editor and Chair of the Craig Newmark Center for Ethics and Leadership at The Poynter Institute, began by writing that âthere are many, many red flags in that New York Post investigation,â linking to an NPR piece detailing the issues. âThe biggest reasonâ that NPR has ignored the story, however, âis the the assertions donât amount to much,â McBride wrote.

NYT calls for 'UN supervision' of US elections. NEW YORK TIMES Calls For UN 'Election Intervention', Says Biden Must Follow Belarus Protesters and 'Appeal to the World For Help'.
THE NEW YORK TIMES CALLED FOR âINTERNATIONAL INTERVENTIONâ IN THE FORTHCOMING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, INSISTING THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY INVITE THE UNITED NATIONS AND A HOST OF GEORGE SOROS-LINKED GROUPS TO INTERFERE WITH THE ELECTION OUTCOME.
The opinion editorial, entitled âAmerica May Need International Interventionâ was penned by Peter Beinart, also is a contributor at The Atlantic and Political Commentator for CNN.
In over 1,000 words, Beinart makes the case for foreign election interference under the auspices of the notoriously globalist, anti-Trump United Nations, specifically the bodyâs Human Rights Council. The United Nations Human Rights Council, however, hosts egregious human rights abusers such as China, Somalia, Sudan, Venezuela, and Qatar.
