Giuliani explains situation with Powell.
President Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani offered an explanation on why Trump’s legal team issued a statement saying lawyer Sidney Powell is not with the campaign.
“I think it’s because we’re pursuing two different theories,” Giuliani said when he was asked about the situation by Fox News host Lou Dobbs. The Trump legal team, he said, is focused on “misconduct of the election” by state officials in places like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and elsewhere.
Giuliani argued that Trump’s constitutional rights were deprived in some of these states, and he predicted that some of their lawsuits will make it to the Supreme Court. The former New York mayor didn’t elaborate on what Powell was working on.
Powell had spoken on an alleged transnational scheme that flipped votes via election software with the aid of “communist money” from Venezuela, Cuba, and possibly China.

Trump supporters convinced election was rigged. They believe Trump’s stream of election-fraud allegations and say they’re preparing for the possibility of a “civil war” with the American political left.
SUNDOWN, Texas (Reuters) - Brett Fryar is a middle-class Republican. A 50-year-old chiropractor in this west Texas town, he owns a small business. He has two undergraduate degrees and a master’s degree, in organic chemistry. He attends Southcrest Baptist Church in nearby Lubbock.
Fryar didn’t much like Donald Trump at first, during the U.S. president’s 2016 campaign. He voted for Texas Senator Ted Cruz in the Republican primaries.
Now, Fryar says he would go to war for Trump. He has joined the newly formed South Plains Patriots, a group of a few hundred members that includes a “reactionary” force of about three dozen - including Fryar and his son, Caleb - who conduct firearms training.

Trump's different paths to victory. Alan Dershowitz, a Harvard Law professor emeritus, said he thinks President Donald Trump has several legal paths to a 2020 election victory.
Dershowitz said there are a few “constitutional paths to victory” for the president’s legal team, although he noted that Trump will face legal hurdles in all of them.
“For example, in Pennsylvania, they have two very strong legal arguments. One, that the courts changed what the legislature did about counting ballots after the end of Election Day. That’s a winning issue in the Supreme Court. I don’t necessarily support it, but it’s a winning issue in the Supreme Court,” Dershowitz told Fox Business on Nov. 22.
The team, meanwhile, has “a winning issue in the Supreme Court on equal protection, that some counties allowed flawed ballots to be cured while others didn’t. Bush v. Gore suggests that an Equal Protection argument can prevail.”
