Trump urges GOP senators to fight for the presidency. President Donald Trump called on Republican senators to “step up and fight for the presidency” as they continue to distance themselves from efforts to challenge Electoral College results on Jan. 6.
“Time for Republican Senators to step up and fight for the Presidency, like the Democrats would do if they had actually won,” Trump wrote on Dec. 26 in a series of Twitter posts.
“The proof is irrefutable! Massive late night mail-in ballot drops in swing states, stuffing the ballot boxes (on video), double voters, dead voters, fake signatures, illegal immigrant voters, banned Republican vote watchers, MORE VOTES THAN ACTUAL VOTERS (check out Detroit & Philadelphia), and much more. The numbers are far greater than what is necessary to win the individual swing states, and cannot even be contested.

GA senate runoff most expensive in history. This election cycle saw by far the highest combined total spent on all federal races in history, so it’s only fitting to bring the year to a close with some record-breaking fundraising totals in the Georgia runoffs.
More than one-third of a billion dollars flowed into campaign coffers of the four candidates running for two U.S. Senate seats in Georgia over the last two months, according to federal election records, with the bulk of that money going to the Democrats in the races.
Democratic candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock blew past fundraising records, which were set just earlier this year, by raising more than $100 million each in the course of only two months for their races against GOP incumbent Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler. And much like Democratic candidates around the country earlier this year, the record hauls came mostly from small-dollar donors, in this case likely animated by a consequential double runoff election that could tip the balance of the Senate toward Democrats.

More GOP Lawmakers Back Electoral College Challenge. Another member of Congress has pledged to challenge the Electoral College vote submissions when the Joint Session of Congress meets Jan. 6, joining several others who said they will do so.
Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Texas) wrote in a letter to Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and John Cornyn (R-Texas) that “I intend to object to the certification of the Electoral College vote submissions on January 6th, and I respectfully ask you to stand with me.”
Neither Cornyn nor Cruz have publicly said whether they would challenge the votes. The process requires at least one House representative and one senator.
“We must stand up for the tens of millions of Americans who want answers to the irregularities surrounding this election,” Gooden said in his letter. “It is our duty to ensure the integrity of our election is unwavering, and the American people deserve to feel confident their vote matters.”

Recount Confirms Trump Won Michigan County That Reported Biden Win on Election Night.
A hand recount on Wednesday confirmed that a Michigan county falsely reported on election night a win for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
The recount in Antrim County found 9,759 votes for President Donald Trump, versus 5,959 for Biden.
On Nov. 3, county officials said Biden received over 3,000 more votes than Trump. Two days later, they said Trump won by about 2,500 votes. A third change took place on Nov. 21, with Trump being certified the winner by nearly 4,000 votes.
Officials blamed the skewed results on human error.
