Marxist BLM Support Plummets. Support for the radical-left Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement has plummeted this year, according to a new report from the left-wing New York Times.
BLM has been riding off the back of allegations of “systemic racism” in policing in the United States (and in general).
Support - and profits - for the organization, which openly promotes Marxism, soared after the death of George Floyd in 2020.
However, it has now fallen back to levels last seen in 2019, the Times reports.
According to an essay by academics Jennifer Chudy and Hakeem Jefferson, net popular support for BLM was +5% in mid-2018.
Support soared past +20% in mid-2020, but then quickly fell again.

A new Tennessee bill seeks to ban critical race theory from being taught in state schools. The state assembly approved the bill Wednesday.
The measure states funding will be held from public schools that push the theory that the U.S. is a “fundamentally racist country.” Lawmakers have said teaching the theory would be harmful to students.

Here’s one of the ways that leftists keep the idea of racism in America alive: when a killer happens to be white, leftist statisticians often list it as a “white” killing, which is how they cook the numbers to try to make it seem as if “white supremacy” is a major threat. At the same time, they downplay the actual threats of leftist supremacy, black supremacy and Islamic supremacy. And part of why leftists play up the non-threat of “white supremacy” is to give black supremacists another excuse to “fight” against it, thus justifying their own racism and anything they do against “white supremacy,” including murder. Virginia Seeks to End Accelerated Math Classes for "Inequity" Purposes. Also considering the elimination of advanced high school diplomas to increase “equity,” including racial “equity.”
The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) has decided to “eliminate all accelerated math options prior to 11th grade” in an effort to combat what they claim is “inequity” in mathematics. This is the latest in a series of proposals surrounding what Virginia sees as racial inequity in school.
According to Loudoun County school board member Ian Serotkin, the change would eliminate classes such as Algebra I and II and Geometry. He said, “[A]s currently planned, this initiative will eliminate ALL math acceleration prior to 11th grade. That is not an exaggeration, nor does there appear to be any discretion in how local districts implement this. All 6th graders will take Foundational Concepts 6. All 7th graders will take Foundational Concepts 7. All 10th graders will take Essential Concepts 10. Only in 11th and 12th grade is there any opportunity for choice in higher math courses.”
