PolitiFacts and other organizations that present themselves as defenders of the truth have generated an intense debate in the political society of the United States. They call themselves impartial and objective entities, dedicated to verifying the veracity of politicians' claims. However, reality indicates that these organizations are driven by an agenda that favors left-wing politicians and delegitimizes those with conservative leanings.

Anti-Trumpism: The Pandemic Generated by Politifacts or "Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder"

The anti-Trumpism generated by Politifacts has become a pandemic or an obsessive-compulsive disorder of classifying as a lie any truth expressed by Trump, the followers of the MAGA movement, or by all those who show a minimum of sympathy with Trumpist ideas. This essay argues that entities like Politifacts and the media of anti-American political elites are playing an ideologically biased role with the left and, worse, displaying an unhealthy neo-Marxist bent, trying to affect public perception of the morality and honesty of conservative political leaders and their policies that guarantee democracy.  the impartiality of justice and the prosperity and security of the American nation.

The Context of Fact-Checking

It is essential to consider the context in which these organizations operate, which intend to deceive us with their disguise as truth-checkers. Many of them arose in an environment of absolute political polarization, where the media are perceived by an astonishing polarization that has transformed many journalists, militants, and political activists into spokesmen or political commissars of an increasingly radical left and neo-Marxist tendency.

Double Standards in Evaluating Facts

The so-called PolitiFacts or truth-checkers who promise to conduct rigorous fact-checking, have been accused of applying blatant and open double standards in the assessments of the facts, showing their commitment to a globalist ideology that favors the left no matter how much media poison they have to spread, giving extremely harsh ratings to the claims of conservative politicians. In contrast, the statements of the liberal leaders are treated with extreme mildness and a benevolence of complicity. This shows that they are really committed to globalist ideology to promote a narrative that favors the left and neo-Marxist currents in absolute collusion trying to show leftist fake news as truths and qualifying as misleading any evaluation or criterion that contradicts or opposes their ideology.

The Delegitimization Campaign Against Donald Trump

Since his emergence as a candidate, Donald Trump has been the target of constant attacks based on questionable data and misleading judgments about his words and actions. The media, in collaboration with PolitiFact, have created a negative image that sustains narratives of fear and discredit.

The Use of Disinformation in Public Opinion

Systematic efforts to delegitimize Trump have led to extreme comparisons with oppressive historical figures such as Hitler or Fidel Castro, fostering a climate of hatred and danger that resulted in not only verbal but also artistic and cultural attacks against him until the recent attempts on the president's life.

A brief history of the damage caused by the Politifacts' campaigns

There are plenty of examples of how these Politifact-type organizations have tried to shape public perception of Donald Trump since he began as a candidate, during his first term and re-election campaign, and continues now after his landslide presidential victory. Trump was the subject of constant attacks and recurring criticism based on questionable data or misleading interpretations of the president's words and actions. The media, in collaboration with platforms such as PolitiFact, focused their efforts on highlighting possible errors out of context and any expression of controversies by the president, creating a negative image that was fodder for the defamatory electoral campaigns against him. This systematic approach not only sought to delegitimize Trump in the eyes of a significant portion of the population but contributed to a narrative that privileged left-wing ideologies and candidates who repeated ridiculous scripts and fallacies about the danger Trump represented: an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs, who must be targeted,  so that he does not reach the presidency, calling him a threat to democracy and an existential danger to the United States, comparing him to Hitler and Fidel Castro fueling so much hatred that it began with insults and threats from left-wing democratic and progressive political leaders, from personalities and artists with verbal threats of aggression and artistic works and/or theatrical performances simulating his assassination that undoubtedly encouraged the real attempts on the president's life.

The Resilience of the American Electorate

Despite the media opposition and the "fact-checking" in collusion with the Democratic left against Trump, and the political persecution to which he was subjected first by the Obama administration and then by the Biden-Kamala administration, it speaks to the resilience and determination of the American electorate. This indicates that, despite attempts to discredit him, a significant part of the population in his first presidential contest of 2016 against Hillary Clinton saw in his message a viable alternative to the traditional policies of the ruling elites, as well as a rejection of the influence of the left permeated with neo-Marxist overtones. Trump's second victory in this last 2024 election against the neo-Marxist left-wing extremist Kamala Harris was a landslide and devastating victory by winning the electoral and popular vote, where Trump challenged and reversed all the false narratives held by most of these self-proclaimed fact-checkers, who painted a portrait of an extremely diabolical leader to be rejected by the public and the people,  with such a degree of exaggeration that it allowed the electorate to discover that the cauldrons were full of lies, hatred and incredible offenses. Neither the campaigns against him nor the indoctrination purposes sought by the elites could impose themselves on the will of the American people who decided to elect Trump as president.

The Voter's Response to Media Narratives

Trump's election reflected opposition to the traditional Democratic political elites and the triumph of conservative Republicanism, which resulted in a massive vote that dismantled all the narratives against him, evidencing the ability of the people to decide their future.

The Importance of Transparency and Honesty

Trump's election was a conscious act of support by millions of Americans who believe in his policies. Despite smear campaigns, the electorate has demonstrated a clear vision of rejection of left-wing elites and a fervent embrace of the conservatism promulgated by the Trumpist MAGA movement to achieve and keep alive the American dream of democracy, freedom, and prosperity.

Conclusion

Organizations that call themselves defenders of truth, such as PolitiFact, require close critical analysis to counter their influence on American politics and the democratic world. While fact-checking is essential for a healthy democracy, objectivity can be compromised by ideological biases of these types of organizations subservient to leftist and neo-Marxist ideology. The experience of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement highlights the need for an increase in the awareness and education of the electorate against the indoctrination that they try to implement in schools from an early age, in order to maintain an active voice in the face of attempts at selective delegitimization, political persecution and promotion of sanctions by conservative militants.
