Mexico Rejects AMLO’S Admiration for Cuba: An Interview with América Rangel.
The congresswoman from the National Action Party (PAN) has launched a formidable campaign to raise awareness of the brutalities of the communist regime in Havana and has singled out the Mexican president for his dishonorable conduct.
The Cuban dictator’s visit to Mexico has prompted a great controversy. Díaz Canel’s presence is only half of it. The conduct of Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) and his statements of reverence towards Cuban communism has left many in shock. Mexican society, for the most part, has felt insulted and has demonstrated a general rejection for both, the state visit by the head of a sixty-two-year-old Marxist-Leninist dictatorship, and the pronouncements of apologia by AMLO.
The fact that this all occurred on the day Mexico celebrates its 211th independence anniversary, in an official national holiday and celebration, is abominable, as judged by international reactions, but especially by Mexicans themselves.

The 211th Mexican Independence Day festivities and the 6th CELAC Summit all served the purposes of elevating AMLO within the socialist ranks.
Last Thursday, September 16th, was Mexico’s 211th independence declaration anniversary. A massive civic-military parade was prepared for the occasion. The event, however, was dedicated to socialism at Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s (AMLO) request. It was not Mexico that was honored but Cuban communism. This was a pagan, political religious festival, where the command center of continental socialist imperialism, Havana, officially anointed AMLO. It was an affront to Mexico and the free world.
The Cuban dictator, Miguel Diaz-Canel, was the guest of honor. AMLO followed meticulously the script that the Marxist-Leninist government gave him. Totally denigrating himself, the Mexican head of state made embarrassing and bizarre statements all throughout the day. Communist Cuba was categorized, by him, as a “new Numantia” (a Celtiberian settlement in present-day Spain that fought Ancient Rome). AMLO added, “I think that it should be declared a World Heritage site for the same reason.” The Castro regime’s primary survivability focus, having the U.S. end the embargo, was a predictable chore that Mexico’s president would take up for the Castro-Communist dictatorship.

The racial factor is circumstantial and can only be sustained through the lens of Critical Theory of Race madness.
BBC News published an article on August 20 about the Cuban Uprising of July 11. The piece centered around the opinion of Alejandro de la Fuente, a historian and professor of African and African American Studies at Harvard University, on Cuba and the potential triggers of the cited popular protests throughout the Island. The relevancy of this work is strictly in its argument and why it must be reviewed and challenged. Racism and economics were not the causes of the massive demonstrations.
Titled “Protests in Cuba: ‘Those who protested on July 11 were the losers of state capitalism and among them are Afro-Cubans’,” the article presents a viewpoint that is representative of other works and opinions that present an alternate reality when it comes to the overarching reasons for the civic rebellion that transpired across Cuba on July 11. Whether intentional or not, the BBC News piece adds to a perspective, which bypasses the clear purpose of the Cuban people’s demands. Those familiar with de la Fuente’s work, know full well his monothematic, one-dimensional understanding of race relations in Cuba.

Over two months have passed since the Cuban Uprising of July 11. On that Sunday, thousands of people in over fifty localities across the Island took to the streets to demand “Freedom” and “Down with Communism”. More than five thousand individuals were either imprisoned or investigated, according to 14ymedio. A brutal crackdown ensued. There are still over five hundred and five people detained and/or disappeared, fifteen of them minors, according to Cubalex, a human rights group. What has been the Biden-Harris response? A soft rapprochement with Castro-Communism is what is in the works.
The Biden-Harris administration committed itself, on July 22, to having “study groups” recommend six different policy initiatives regarding the Cuban Uprising. Of the six, two have nothing to do with satisfying the calls for freedom and justice by the Cuban people, three are pointless as they have been tainted and are ideologically tabulated, and one is a moot point at this stage. Let us examine the irrelevant ones first.
