Utah BLM Founder: US Flag a "Hate" Symbol. In a Facebook post made on Independence Day, Utah’s Black Lives Matter (BLM) Chapter wrote that the American flag is “a symbol of hatred” and those flying are “racist.”
“When we Black Americans see this flag, we know the person flying it is not safe to be around,” the post reads. “When we see this flag, we know the person flying it is a racist. When we see this flag, we know that the person flying it lives in a different America than we do. When we see this flag, we question your intelligence. We know to avoid you. It is a symbol of hatred.”
Lex Scott, the chapter’s founder, said she stands by her words about the American flag being a symbol of hate.
Black Father Demolishes Critical Race Theory by Asking One Question: "How Do I Have Two Medical Degrees If I’m Sitting Here Oppressed?"
Ty Smith, a father of two teenagers and the star of a popular YouTube channel, disposed of the incendiary Critical Race Theory agenda at a meeting about the Bloomington Public Schools curriculum earlier in June.
Smith implored that parents and educators never allow the CRT agenda to become a part of the curriculum.
Smith took aim at Critical Race Theory’s insistence that whites are by definition “oppressors” and blacks are by definition “oppressed.”
“How do I have two medical degrees if I’m sitting here oppressed?” Smith asked the parents and educators. Smith said he had worked through college without a mother and father in his home. Watch the video:
Sen Cotton Confronts Military With Dangers of Critical Race Theory and warns of serious consequences if military applies focus on CRT.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) has continued to push back on critical race theory being worked into military training. In an interview on Friday, Cotton discussed the letters he has received from members of the military and their families that details their concern over CRT.
Cotton, who currently serves on the armed services committee, has asserted the military has always been about getting ahead strictly based on merit. He warned of “real intangible costs” if leaders continued their attempts to divide service members.
Marxist BLM Support Plummets. Support for the radical-left Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement has plummeted this year, according to a new report from the left-wing New York Times.
BLM has been riding off the back of allegations of “systemic racism” in policing in the United States (and in general).
Support - and profits - for the organization, which openly promotes Marxism, soared after the death of George Floyd in 2020.
However, it has now fallen back to levels last seen in 2019, the Times reports.
According to an essay by academics Jennifer Chudy and Hakeem Jefferson, net popular support for BLM was +5% in mid-2018.
Support soared past +20% in mid-2020, but then quickly fell again.
