Facebook's "Extremism" Warning Censorship Tactic. Facebook Is Causing A Spook By Asking People If They Are Worried About An ‘Extremist’ Friend. Here’s What That’s About.
In a pilot initiative to combat “extremism,” Facebook began notifying users if they were exposed to extremist content and whether they were concerned someone they knew was becoming an extremist.
The notification, which Facebook said is in the testing phase, either notifies users that they have potentially been exposed to extremist content or asks them if they are concerned about a friend becoming an extremist. A Facebook spokesperson told CNN Business that the feature is part of Facebook’s commitment to combatting extremism on its platform. Facebook has had issues in the past of terrorists recruiting on the platform. A report from 2020 found that ISIS and other terrorist groups had found ways to evade content moderators, such as disguising their content with reports from legitimate news outlets, BBC reported. The groups were able to get tens of thousands of views on their recruiting materials before Facebook was able to remove them.

YouTube Takes Down Video of Ohio House Testimony Session.
Google’s YouTube last week removed a video that showed an attorney testifying to the Ohio legislature, after the service deemed that it contained misinformation about COVID-19.
Thomas Renz, an attorney with the citizens’ group Ohio Stands Up!, spoke to the Ohio House State and Local Government Committee in support of the GOP-backed House Bill 90, which would implement legislative oversight of pandemic-related orders given by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.
Renz testified over the course of about 36 minutes that he opposed the harsh orders imposed by DeWine, a Republican, and health officials amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Renz noted that officials initially thought the fatality rate from the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus would be much higher than the flu, but it turned out to be close to the influenza fatality rate.

FB CEO Praises Biden Exec Orders.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg praised executive orders issued by President Joe Biden during his first day in office, newly leaked video from a company meeting shows.
“I thought President Biden’s inaugural address was very good,” Zuckerberg said during the Jan. 21 meeting.
“In his first day, President Biden already issued a number of executive orders on areas that we as a company care quite deeply about and have for some time,” he said. “Areas like immigration, preserving DACA, ending restrictions on travel from Muslim-majority countries, as well as other Executive Orders on climate and advancing racial justice and equity. I think these were all important and positive steps.”
The video was leaked to Project Veritas, a nonprofit watchdog, by someone the group described as a Facebook insider.
