The Ortega Regime in Nicaragua Works Like the Mafia, Journalist Judith Flores Says.

Nicaragua has been in the news lately and not for good reasons. El American had the opportunity to sit down with Judith Flores, a journalist, digital editor for the Diario las Américas and columnist at La Gaceta (Spain). A native of Nicaragua, the very qualified investigative reporter, touched upon aspects of the systemic crisis currently under way in her country.

The past, as well as the present and the future, were part of the conversation that helped provide a better appreciation of what is happening in what once was the most prosperous country in Central America, prior to the initial Sandino-Communist takeover of power in 1979.

The absence of a transitional judicial process, following the initial Sandinista dictatorial reign (1979-1990) and the ensuing civil war for liberation carried out by the anti-communist freedom fighters, known as the “Contras” — considering the crimes against humanity and crimes of war that were committed by the Marxist regime — went unaccounted for.

Juneteenth: When Historiography Challenges History.

Historians, political scientists, philosophers, sociologists, anthropologists, and many other academic disciplines count on historical accuracy to develop theories and opinions. Historiography, the study and practice of writing about history, is quite often intermingled with ideological prisms. “Juneteenth”, the most recent established federal holiday, may just be an example of that. What happens when historiography challenges history?

President Joe Biden, with Vice President Kamala Harris at his side, signed into law on Thursday June 18^th the nation’s eleventh federal holiday. The legislation established June 19^th officially as, Juneteenth National Independence Day. All countries wrestle with the choice of which dates to honor relevant markings that underlie their historical experiences. A nation as historically rich and diverse as the United States, expectedly offers a wide realm to choose from. Is June 19^th the most emblematic date to celebrate the end of slavery in America?

Corporate Media’s Fraudulent Reporting of the Lafayette Square Riot by Marxist Rioters.

Pravda, the official media outlet for the Communist Party of the former Soviet Union, has been cloned and has metastasized itself in the American establishment media. The collapse of investigative journalism and the abandonment of the overriding principle of reporting the truth, even when it challenges ideologically held precepts, is a thing of the past in the United States. Unlike the case with Pravda and its coerced realm of production, the political activism of America’s traditional means of communication, have voluntarily entered this “pravdaization” phase by political conviction.

Recent events, however, have officially debunked American mainstream press. The “fake news” credentials that former President Trump and many on the right levied upon them were brushed aside by the left as conspiracy and political talking points. A report by the Department of the Interior’s Inspector General published June 9^th demolished the established and false narrative of the events surrounding the 45^th President’s lauded visit to St. John’s Episcopal Church on June 1^st.

The fraudulent reporting by the American media has been exposed

Can Joe Manchin and Blue Dog Democrats Stop Biden’s Dangerous Agenda?

Barack Obama’s Democratic Party has two seminal problems that impede their ability to make America socialist. President Joe Biden’s visibly depleting cognition capabilities are frustrating their scheme of using the cosmetically choreographed “moderate” disguise that the veteran politician has brought into this administration. First, serving to the 44^th president as his VP, and now covering for, who for some is the de facto head of the Executive branch, Kamala Harris. The second serious problem is Senator Joseph Manchin III, and a small group of centrist Democrats.

This functionally compact, but powerful, coalition of authentic moderates within the party founded by Andrew Jackson, are upending the socialist scheme of federalizing mail-in, fraud-baiting voting, adding states and Justices to bulk up the control of the Senate and the Supreme Court, defending the time-honored filibuster rule, and challenging the Marxist indoctrination of key institutions within the American body politic. Headed by the West Virginia senior senator, these Blue Dogs (conservative Democrats) embrace much of the worldview sustained by the party founded by Abraham Lincoln.
