The resolution of the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) recognizes that only 30% of the guidelines on the "Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution" approved at the 6th Congress, held 10 years ago, have been implemented. But, worse than that is that nowhere in the document is there any criticism for the delay and inefficiency.
According to the report read by Alejandro Gil Fernandez, Minister of Economy and Planning, 40% of the 244 approved policies are in implementation and the remaining 30% are in the proposal and approval stage.

In general, most of the reports I have consulted agree on a few points, among which stands out the idea of the transfer of absolute powers to Miguel Díaz Canel, the current president of Cuba, which means the definitive withdrawal of the Castros from the political scene of the island, as well as the possible changes that this could cause in relation to the political statism of the country and its repercussion in the economic sphere.

Castroism expands control over the Internet. New decree law will allow the dictatorship greater control over the internet, social networks and communications.
The Cuban regime will strengthen its control over the Internet and social networks with the approval of a new decree-law that will allow it to regulate new technologies and communication.
The National Assembly approved the legal norm, called "On Telecommunications, Information and Communication Technologies, and the Use of the Radioelectric Spectrum", which will impose a legal framework to "counteract radioelectric and cyberspace aggressions".

Castroism prohibits the mobilization of journalists and activists on Sunday. Several Cuban activists dawned besieged and under house arrest this Sunday by State Security agents.
"Repression, the violation of our freedoms, cultural and of all kinds, continue to be the main tool of forced submission of an abusive government such as the one that reigns today on the island. I dawn besieged by the State Security and the political police," denounced the activist AfrikReina.
"The crime in question? To create a prosperous and joyful Cuba, in our present and for our future: we DO want a Cuba "with all and for the good of all", she assured.
