Retired Military Leaders Warn Against Marxist Threat in America. A group of high-level military leaders issue an open letter on May 12th warning that the United States “is in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776.” To leave no room for confusion, the missive makes lucid that the peril stems from a “conflict (that) is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty”. The retired generals and admirals, additionally, pledged to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies,” irrelevant of whether they were “domestic” or “foreign”.
The left has been somewhat taken by this, but its reaction has been surreptitious. Left-leaning Foreign Policy magazine published an article calling the letter: “The Military Revolt Against Joe Biden.” Putting aside the false claims alluding to this First Amendment exercise as being a seditious act, the emblematic response of the left is probably concerned with the overarching sentiment of the letter is the influential group’s commitment that states, “Although retired from active service, each of us feels bound by that oath to do what we can, in our capacity today, to protect our nation from the threats to her freedom”.

The deep-rooted concerns expressed by the over 150 American generals and admirals in the statement is well thought out and meticulously argued. The overarching advertence of the senior ranking officers is of the socialist authoritarian path that the Biden-Harris administration is taking America to, with the complicit collusion of corporate media, Big Tech and woke capitalism. Additionally, the elite military group highlights that fact that this insidious course is anti-American, pro Marxist, and that it goes against the nation’s foundational design and the precept of the rule of law. They point to numerous areas of concern which is highlighted with specificity.
The open attempt to indoctrinate the United States Armen Forces by way of forcibly inculcating Marxist Critical Race Theory upon all enlisted personnel is subversive and they called it out. The politicization of the military for ideological purposes was also cited. The utilization of thousands of troops to “guard” the U.S. Capitol Building from a “non-existent threat”, clearly referencing the left’s white supremacy domestic terrorism conspiracy theory (Blue Anon), was among the alarming issues raised.
The risk of open borders reflected in the Biden-Harris immigration fiasco was an elevated point. China as America’s principal threat was also emphasized. The censorship of free speech and political activity by Big Tech and supported by corporate media, was addressed. The Biden-Harris position on the Iran nuclear deal, the Abraham Accords, and the Keystone Pipeline was severely critiqued. The lawless state of anarchy in some American cities because of the Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots of the 2020 Summer, the arbitrary execution of the law in leftist controlled judicial districts, have, according to the retired military generals and admirals, trampled traditional concepts of equality under the law (fundamental to rule of law principles).
The letter also raised serious concerns over the mental and physical condition of the “Commander-in-Chief”, referencing Biden. America’s adversaries, when they see that the leadership of the Democratic Party raises inquiries about nuclear code procedures, emits dangerous messages of incompetence that could be acted upon. The proper chain of command on nuclear weaponry use, should never be a public discussion that is open to false interpretation by enemies of the United States.
The high-ranking officers did not leave out what is, highly likely, the most seminal variable which will determine America’s fate: election integrity. H.R.1 and now S.1, the left’s intent to federalize elections thereby lower electoral standards beyond those of any industrialized democratic country on the planet, would, as per the statement, “destroy election fairness and allow Democrats to forever remain in power violating our Constitution and ending our Representative Republic”.
This brave and concerned group of retired military officers have come forth sounding the alarm. They have defended freedom and have stated adamantly that they will not rescind from their oath to safeguard their country from tyranny. Thomas Jefferson in a 1787 letter to William Stephens Smith wrote “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants”. This is a reminder to all that democracy and having a constitutional republic has never been about complacency with despotic rule. These patriotic praetorians are echoing Jefferson’s sentiment.
